Data processed
When you use this site, we may process:
- Technical data — IP address, user agent, pages visited, timestamps, for security purposes and aggregated statistics. Traffic statistics are measured using Umami, a tool self-hosted by Mintaka Sàrl that sets no cookies and does not identify visitors individually.
- Data you voluntarily provide via the contact form: name, e-mail address, organization, subject and message.
We do not use any tracking cookies, third-party audience-measurement tools, or advertising. We do not carry out any automated profiling for decisions concerning you.
Purposes
Data is processed to:
- respond to your contact requests;
- ensure the operation, security and improvement of the site;
- comply with our legal obligations.
No data is used for direct marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Recipients and processors
Contact form data is sent to us by e-mail via our mail relay and is accessible to Mintaka Sàrl staff in charge of the business relationship.
The site is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA (Les Acacias, Geneva, Switzerland), with data storage in Switzerland. We do not transfer your data outside Switzerland or the European Union without appropriate safeguards.
Retention period
Contact data is kept for as long as needed to process your request, then for the duration required to follow up the relationship, and finally archived for the legally required period. Technical logs are kept for a maximum of twelve months.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to, rectification or deletion of your data, as well as restriction of or objection to its processing, and portability of the data you have provided to us. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected].
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where applicable, the competent supervisory authority in the EU.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or disclosure. Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS) and access to data is limited to people who need it for the purposes described above.
Data processed within the Tacticat application
This policy covers the tacticat.app website. When an operator uses the Tacticat application to manage its bookings and participants, Mintaka Sàrl acts as a processor on behalf of that operator, who remains the data controller. This relationship is governed by Art. 8 of the terms and conditions and by the applicable data processing agreement (DPA).
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site, our providers, or the legal framework. The applicable version is the one published on this page.
